Prayer Request 1
After surviving a devastating attack on his Christian village in 2015, Danjuma Shakaru is now studying at Bible college and seeking to reach those who persecuted him with the gospel. He asks for prayer: “…that I have strength to serve the Lord.”
Moussa, a 65-year-old believer from Djibouti, was rejected by his family because he chose to follow Christ after leaving Islam. Pray that God would comfort and strengthen him as he remains faithful despite the rejection he faces for his faith.
Abdisa, a Christian worker in the Horn of Africa, asks for prayer for believers who often follow Jesus in isolation. He shares, “They often become discouraged, feel lonely and are tempted to return to Islam, the cultural norm.” Pray especially for two Somali sisters who each came to faith through an online ministry and unexpectedly discovered they were both Christians. Ask God to help them grow in their faith, protect them, and use their witness to draw their whole family to Christ.
