Stand with the Persecuted Church in Prayer this IDOP
Set aside time on 1 November to pray for Christians serving in countries where persecution is a daily reality. Whether individually, as a family, or with your church community, your prayers are a powerful encouragement to those who are suffering for their faith.
Encourage your church to participate in IDOP during a Sunday service, prayer meeting, small group, or special gathering. Even a few dedicated minutes of prayer can help raise awareness and unite believers in support of the persecuted Church.
We’ve created a range of resources to make participation simple and meaningful for churches and groups of any size. Visit our Resources page to download:
Invite others to join you in prayer. Share IDOP with your church, small group, youth group, friends, and family, and encourage them to stand with persecuted believers around the world.
Persecuted Christians consistently ask their brothers and sisters around the world to remember them in prayer. As we pray, we stand together as one Body of Christ, asking God to strengthen His people, protect those serving in difficult places, provide for their needs, and continue advancing the Gospel in every nation
Join VOM’s online Zoom Prayer Meeting at 8pm on the first of every month as we pray for persecuted Christians around the world. On 1 November, our monthly prayer meeting will be a special International Day of Prayer (IDOP) gathering.
